Sigenergy Wifi Reconnect

No Data on Your mySigen Portal?

If you’re not seeing any data on your mySigen monitoring portal, it usually means your Sigenergy inverter has disconnected from your Wi-Fi network.

Don’t panic — your system is still producing and storing energy. It simply isn’t sending data to the monitoring portal.

Your Sigenergy system may disconnect from Wi-Fi if you’ve recently:

  • Changed internet providers
  • Updated your modem or router
  • Changed your Wi-Fi password
  • Added or changed a Wi-Fi extender
  • Experienced a power outage or blackout

Reconnecting your SigenStor Energy Controller to Wi-Fi is simple and can be done at home without needing professional assistance.

How to Reconnect Your Sigenergy System to Wi-Fi

1. Check Wi-Fi Availability Near the SigenStor

On your smartphone, open Settings → Wi-Fi and confirm your home network appears in the list.

If it doesn’t, your modem or Wi-Fi network may have an issue that needs fixing before proceeding.

2. Restart Your Sigenergy Inverter

Restarting will activate the inverter’s hotspot, allowing you to reconnect it to Wi-Fi.

a. Turn off the AC switch
Inside the Sigenergy Gateway, locate the switch labelled “Inverter Supply” and flip it to the OFF position.

b. Turn off the DC switch
Remove the cover on the left side of the inverter by lifting it upwards. Inside, locate the labelled DC switch and turn it OFF.

c. Restart the system

Wait a few minutes for the inverter to power down completely.

Then turn the DC switch ON, followed by the AC/Inverter Supply switch ON.

After a short wait, the inverter will power up and activate its hotspot.

3. Open the mySigen App

Launch the mySigen app on your smartphone.

4. Go to Settings

Tap Settings in the bottom-right corner.

5. Open Network Configuration

Under More Settings, select Connectivity to open the network configuration screen.

6. Begin the Connection Process

Tap Next to continue.

7. Scan the QR Code

Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code located inside the inverter cover (beside the DC switch).

8. Connect to the Inverter Hotspot

When prompted, select “No, I want to connect device hotspot.”

Tap Next, then Connect when the pop-up appears.

9. Choose Your Home Wi-Fi

The app will display nearby Wi-Fi networks. Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list.

10. Enter Your Wi-Fi Password

Type in your Wi-Fi password and tap Join.

11. Confirm Connection

Once connected, a tick mark will appear next to your network name — confirming your inverter is now online.
