What Would Disqualify You?
To keep things completely transparent, the NSW Government does have a few firm rules on who cannot apply for this specific program:

You’ve already maxed out the grant: The property has already received up to $15,000 worth of energy upgrades using a Home Energy Saver loan under your household.

It’s a holiday rental or Airbnb: The property is used for short-stay accommodation. (The program is strictly designed to relieve energy bill pressure for long-term residents, owner-occupiers, and traditional landlords/renters).

It is government-supported housing: The property is a designated social or community housing property.
